#NNPremiereScreening: X-Men Days of Future Past

*no spoilers*

Yesterday was the Premiere Screening for X-Men Days of Future Past.
Cookie as usual was too busy, so I brought Panda along instead.

It is a GREAT movie to me, but not so for those who expect lots of action.
Because in DoFP, the plot is more explanation/talk compared to fighting.

Even minor plot characters do not do much.

Take Blink for example.
She's a teleporter, a power I would very much like to have!

There is no dialog for her in the movie.
If I'm not mistaken.

BingBing looks really pretty here too.
Too bad, she does not talk much (in the movie).

The meanie in DoFP.

Doing research on how to improve his sentinels.

Throughout the movie I kept thinking of his role as a Lannister.
And was talking to Panda after the movie about how I understand now why characters with a strong role in movies/dramas are seldom chosen for a different movie that also requires them to act as a strong character.

I cannot understand what I just wrote.

Hmm, let's have an example:
I kept thinking of Mystique as Katniss Everdeen

There. Explained. Heh

X-Men fighting off Sentinels.

During this scene I was like:
Ho shit behind yooo-

And Magneto is just, bitchy.
With a good cause for saving the mutants.

Panda was all:
If he did not interfere the movie would've ended 30 minutes earlier.

I nodded.

Favorite character:

Such a farney guy he is.

Hmm, I wonder.
I remember there was a fight with the war God with a Sentinel in Thor once.

With the sentinel project gone, I am kinda curious of what happens?
Enlighten meeeee.

Bunny rating:
4 carrots out of 5

Thank you Nuffnang and TGV for the premiere tickets btw!
