Today's brunch again was really random.
Woke up in the morning with the realization that I am already 24.
Rolled around the bed, and refused to wake up for abit.
Until I finally dragged myself up to feed Sabby.
Cookie was asking what shall we have for
And I was actually thinking of Thirty8.
But then I remembered this place, the one that I was dying to go to a few years back.
What could be better than having foie gras and escargots for brunch!
I don't get the chance to feel atas all the time okay.
Sooooo, to la vie en rose we go!
We pointed out everything we ordered from the menu.
I have given back all my basic French to Madame lmao!
How in the world did I manage to write a full French essay during my finals I have no idea.
The bunny ate:
Poêlée d’escargots en persillade, champignons et noix
Sauteed snails, mushroom and walnuts, garlic and parsley butter
Joue de bœuf braisée au vin rouge, petits légumes glacés
Braised beef cheek in red wine and glazed vegetables
Mashed potatoes with Truffle.
This comes with the main course, and it tastes awesome!
Weekend Brunch Menu
Assortment of croissants & breakfast Danish and bread, butter, cranberry and orange jam.
Fruit salad. *sigh* Bliss
Homemade multi-grain bread.
The croissants, bread and whatnot are bottomless mind you.
Omelette de magret de canard fumé, poire et foie gras sur pain grillé, œuf mollet frit et Duxelles de champignons
Omelette of duck bacon, pear and foie gras on toast, and also soft boiled egg friend with mushroom paste.
The egg is a teeny bit too salty for me tho, but I love the mushroom paste!
Before we left, the waiter informed us that they change their menu once every six months.
So yeapp, totally going to pay them a visit around the end of the year.
