Decided to pay Bankara a visit yesterday with Adrian and Ban. =)
Since it's really new in Avenue K, and we have no idea what to have for dinner.
I don't really fancy lightings like these actually, they're really dark and I can't really take good pictures.
Of both myself and the food.
Notice that there's a silver thingy with lots of holes beside the chopsticks.
I find it really interesting that Bankara allows each table to have fresh garlic (pressed yourself) using those!
Deef fried marinated chicken
We had this for free btw!
Bankara Original (with half the portion of Ramen):
Noodles served with Charsiu, bamboo shoot, dried seaweeds and Japanese onions.
Bankara Original + Kakuni (braised pork belly)
P.S: I have never had bamboo shoots with noodles/ramen until today.
Cold ramen with hot spicy soup, served together with Charsiu, bamboo shoots and dried seaweed
To be really honest I still prefer Marutama.
No, I'm not being bias.
The soup is really oily (because of the butter) and not to my liking.
But maybe others love it, so it might be fine.
Marutama's ramen soup tastes so much better with less oil and has stronger chicken-y taste.
They have a Marutama in Avenue K too btw.
